Do you think that my chances of getting into a good college are partially ruined b/c of my fresh year?

What colleges do you think i can get into? (i am looking to becoming an orthodontist/ oral surgeon maybe, but at least something in medical field).

Messed up freshman Year?
You want recognition? You got it. You have done good kid.

Don't worry about the F.year. You are OK. Move on. No looking back. Just keep up the good work in jr. and sr. years.

Your sights are set on ortho / oral surgeon.? Good line. Potential to make good rewarding career out of that. Many in my family are just that and they are doing well.

Good luck.
Reply:I don't see where you really messed up at. Those grades look pretty good to me. Don't stress about it; your freshman year is over and you can't go back and change it, so don't even worry about it. Just concentrate on what you are doing now,do your best, keep your grades up, and you'll be fine. I think you should be able to get into some pretty good colleges with those grades. Good luck!
Reply:Hahah... seriously? You're fine, trust me.
Reply:you forget that colleges are also concerned with the trend of your grades they see this and u gonna be set. im kinda stagnant at 3.7 only problem is i see not alot of honors. get on that. u need ap course to get into competitive schools, by competitive i mean usc and nd. u can not really try next two years and probably get into big ten schools easily
