I am doing bad at school help?

I don't know what is wrong with me. This is the third week of my junior year in high school. My grades are like C's n D's. And I have a bad start. My classes are 2 honors, 2 CP, %26amp; 2 cpu classes. I have no ride for tutoring. I try to understand but i don't. I try to study but its a failure. I don't talk in class and just listen to the teacher. But I just am a failure.

I am doing bad at school help?
You are not a failure. Failures have given up trying - as long as you keep trying, you still have the chance to succeed.

Sit down with each of your teachers individually and explain your problem. Let them know what you don't understand. Ask them if you can do certain assignments over for a better grade, or if they can help you figure out how to do better on the next assignment. Your teachers are eager to help you, but you need to ask them.

Also, talk to your dean or school counselor. They are also there to help you. Perhaps honors classes are not for you, and you would be more comfortable in a regular class. Explain your difficulty in getting to tutoring.

Also, talk with your parents. They need to help you find a way to get to tutoring, and need to understand why you are struggling.

Don't worry, lots of students struggle in the beginning of the school year (especially junior year, which is much more rigorous) and are able to change things and end with high grades. You can too, as long as you ask for help and don't give up.
Reply:study more , read more, join a club so you grt more honors and stuff and it will be great for your record and college application..and plus you'll get to meet friends!

um try to be less anxiety (shy, afraid to talk to ppl) and open up to ppl alittle more

smile too!

good luck!
Reply:I would definitely suggest that you talk to your teacher, dean of studies, counselor....whom ever will hear you out. School's staff likes it when students show true interest and concern and they will figure a way to get you the help you need. Also check in w/the tutoring class and find out if anyone is willing to help you with a ride. You'd be surprised how many times a student might live near your area. Also, get a study buddy from your class and a phone number where you will have someone to call and ask for help or advice when you are stuck. And don't stay quiet in class....ask questions....sometimes students are afraid or embarrassed to ask questions and you'd be amazed at how many others have the same confusions and doubts but are also hesitant to ask.

Whatever you do don't let yourself get behind...it sounds like you are a very bright person, you just need a little help and if you ask for it I'm sure things will get back on track..Good Luck!! :)
Reply:Have you ever tried to stay after class and talk to the teacher? If they see you are trying and you are still not getting it...most of them will be willing to help you out...you just have to take the extra time to talk to them individualy.
