Thank you guys SO MUCH. it's saturday school homework. I really can't keep with the class so i'm really clueless on the homework. this would be considered AP bio in my regular school %26amp; they have tutoring but i have no free classes during that time so yeah.. thanks again.

A series of Genetic Questions due tomorrow..?
YOU KNOW WHAT PEOPLE?! do you know how HARD it is for her to answer those questions? apparently i have those questions on my homework too and i don't know who she is. and our teacher is extremely boring and she doesn't teach us everything and the information is NOT in the packets she provides us to read for the information. we just need some help. And a lot of people use yahoo for answers/help on yahoo because sometimes theres no other ways of finding the answer and google doesn't always give the answer we need. so stfu.
Reply:Do your own ******* homework you cheating **********!
Reply:This is sad! instead of asking people to do it for you ask them to explain it to you so you can do it yourself in the future. You may be able to Dodge the homework but what about the classwork?
Reply:1)The answer will be (e)all fo these. Explaination:

Alleles that cause an organism to die are called lethal alleles, where the gene involved is an essential gene. When Mendel's Laws were rediscovered, geneticists believed that mutants would only alter the appearance of a living organism. However, it was discovered that a mutant allele could cause death. When an essential gene is mutated, it can result in a lethal phenotype. If the mutation is caused by a dominant lethal allele, the homozygote and heterozygote for the allele will show the lethal phenotype. If the mutation is caused by a recessive lethal allele, the homozygote for the allele will have the lethal phenotype.

2)(a) XY mechanism. Expalination:

Some organisms have a gene or genes on the Y chromosome that determine maleness. other organisms use several genes on the Y chromosome for that same purpose. Not all male-specific genes are located on the Y chromosome.Drosophila species use the presence of two X chromosomes to determine femaleness. One X chromosome gives putative maleness. The presence of Y chromosome genes are required for normal male development. They can have a chromosomal arrangement that is contrary to their phenotypic sex, that is, XY males or XX females.

3)(a) Law of Segregation states that the 2 alleles of a character which remain togather in an individual always maintain their identity. they seperate out during gametogenesis(gamete formattion) but are free to come togather in the offsprings.

option b of this question is explained by a monohybrid cross

option c is explaines by law of dominance and option d by law of independent assortment.

hope i helped you enough!
