My math grade !! Help me..?

Im really upset about my grade right now.


At the beginng of 1st quarter (when we started school ) i had an A+. Now, its 3rd quarter we have one more quarter to go and were out of school , but anyways i have a C- .....I dont understand how it dropped so low and so Fast !! I try my absolute best and have been doing better on my tests and still have such a low grade..


im really upset and i dont want to go to tutoring because my teacher tutors and i dont like him... he teaches things way to fast all the time and im the one that has to know how to do it when it comes to midterms. Im just really stressed with school right now. I mean, i really want good grades and im willing to work for it and i have been working for it..I've just always been a straight A student throughout my school years.





Can someone offer me any advice..or anything...??

Talk to your parents and your teacher, I'm sure you all can work out a solution to how you can improve your grades, take it from me, I was the worst math student in school, and I finally had to ask my 8th grade teacher for help, and I didn't pull my grade up(C-) but I asked for help, and all through high school I did way better cuz I asked for the help I needed. Reply:Ask for a break down of your grade; if you do not know what is making your grade so low ask. Don't feel stupid but don't throw your hands up either. If your teacher is moving to fast and you have already asked him to slow down and it didn't work, maybe it is just that he can't in class or he wont cover everything he must by the midterm. Maybe it would be different in tutoring. However if you are not willing to give it a shot then I suggest working with a student who is doing well. Finally, make sure you have all of your homework in it can really drag your grade down.

Reply:idk.....math is a bit$% honestly. i hate it, and cant even help myself with that subject, but if u need help with any other subject? im acing all of them, lol, sorry i couldnt help, but seriously who can?
Reply:if u need to be tutored or need extra help, tell him to go a bit slower..... he can't jsut skip on ahead even tho u don't understand and he knows it
Reply:Okay which grade are you in? If your doing algebra right now you shouldn't feel stupid, with algebra you either understand it or you don't. I'd suggest asking one of the smarter student's in your math class if they'd be interested in studying together before a test. It sounds cheesy but it works. I do this for algebra as I don't really get it and I usually end up with a 97 because I studied with the smartest kid in our class.

If you think that your teacher teaches a bit too fast for you, ask them to slow it down a bit, and explain it to you.


If you don't like that idea, there's probably someone from a higher grade that would be willing to help out... Ask around a bit.
