Canteen Question?

This is going to sound reeealy stupid, but...yeah





(BTW- I'm sorry if this is confusing but I really don't know how to say this.)





My school has a canteen,or dance, every month and there's one coming up on friday. I'm kind of nervous b/c this boy I like is gonna be there. I don't know if he likes me b/c every time he comes within 2 feet of me I squeak and start power walking in the other direction. We don't really talk that much, but I know his mom really well because she's my tutoring and honor society advisor. I don't want to say anything awkward to him at the canteen b/c I'm afraid that he'll just think I'm an idiot. I'm really scared to say anything because if he doesn't respond in a, uhh, NICE way then I'm gonna have to deal with him laughing at me for the rest of my school career.





Bottom line- Do I say anything to him at the Canteen, and if I do what should I say.


FYI-It's not like we're the best of friends or anything. We're just...acquaintances.

ohhh dayummmm girl! ok u no what i think u should go up to him and dance with him at the canteen beacuase ur gonna regret it soon or later because u will never know what will happend. u have nothing to loose and if he makes fun of u i'll punch his face in i say go for it =]]]

Reply:Well isay instead of tellin him sumthin at da dance i say u should ask him 2 go 2 the canteen wit u cuz it looks like he likes u. Trust me everytime i walk up 2 a gurl and they walk away i just wanna know if she is shy or if she is disgusted by me. So i say u ask him to go wit u 2 da canteen so dat u can show dat u like him too. Well hope dat helped
