I think i might be failing?

OK so this is my progress report:


Math: B+


Language Arts: C-


Science: A+


History: A


Gym: A


Spanish: C





I am trying really hard becuase im in the eighth grade and how well i do is how you get placed in high school. What should i do to bring my grades up. Should i get a tutor. I dont want people in school to know that i am getting bad grades so i really need help on this

You're not failing! You're doing really well...





Your best subjects are science, history and gym.





And the ones you need to work on are language arts and spanish.





You could talk to your parents about it and see whether they think you need to get a tutor and whether they can afford one.





You could talk to your subject teachers about it and see what they think and see if they could give you some extra work to help you get up to the levels you'd like to be achieving at.





I honestly wouldn't worry, you have 3 As. That's pretty good. We can't be great at everything. I was the same, my top subjects were Stats, Geography and PE, but I struggled at Biology and there was just nothing I could do to make it easier for me. So I realize, that Biology just wasn't my strong subjects and I concentrated on the ones that were.





Take subjects you're interested in a High School, you'll do much better.

you may want to get a tutor for your language arts and your spanish but besides that it looks good...


also you can buy a program at a book store to save you money on paying a tutor.. you can get one for spanish and language arts. they both run around 15 to 20 dollars i believe and they are very helpful.

Reply:Your grades average out okay. Get a tutor if you want to do better. Who cares what other people think?
Reply:Your grades are quite good, with the exception of Language Arts and Spanish. Try staying after school with your teachers and get some extra help, it really does work.
Reply:Practice ur Spanish every single night and work on Language Arts or it might acually be easier if you get a tutor for Language Arts. And for Math ur doing pretty good just keep all the good grades at a constant.

If Spanish and Lang Arts are difficult, study more. Maybe talk to your teacher in the morning for some extra help.


Maybe it is your quizzes and tests, if it is then study a lot. But don't do last minute cramming, because that honestly doesn't help.


Take good notes.


And then when it's time for quizzes or tests, look over the notes, and what you don't know you can copy on another paper.


Go over it the next day and then copy what you don't know again.


Until you're left with a small notecard.


Then look that over before a test.
