As long as your essay is good (esp. to overcome your weak SAT writing score), you should be a competitive candidate at UWashington and a fairly safe bet at Western Washington. Your GPA and class rank are definitely better than the average candidate's.





If I were you, I'd think really hard and try to come up with another activity you've done for more than 1 year (it looks like you're just doing all these things to put something on your college application, which is not looked upon favorably).

These are state schools. They are mandated by law to take any resident of the state of Washington.





With a 3.91, you could still get in, even if you are from out of state though.
