Math Help!?!?
If you put too many questions at the same time, it is a turn off to a lot of people that would normally be willing to help you.
Here is an answer to one of them
3 cons numbers = 267
n + (n + 1) + (n + 2) = 267
3n + 3 = 267
3n = 264
n = 88, 89 and 90

3)insurance sales person Answer:
1200+(3S/100)=1500 where S is the sales
3S/100=1500-1200
3S/100=300
S/100=300/3
S/100=100
S=100*100=10000
So the answer is 10000
4)
I=PTR/100
I=1050*9*2/100*12
I=15.75 is the interest,
So the total would be 1050+15.75=1065.75

Reply:1. c=-324
2. c=-4
Reply:5 + c/9 = - 31
c/9 = - 36
c = - 324
Answer: c = - 324
- 23 - c = - 19
c = - 4
Answer: c = - 4
Consecutive integers:
Find 1st integer (x):
x + x + 1 + x + 2 = 267
3x = 264
x = 88
2nd integer:
= 88 + 1 or 89
3rd integer:
= 88 + 2 or 90
Answer: the numbers are 88, 89. 90
Nickels, dimes and quarters:
Find quarters (x):
$0.05(2x) + $0.25x = $74.80 - $15.30
$0.10x + $0.25x = $59.50
$0.35x = $59.50
x = 170
Answer: there are 170 quarters.
Sales person:
Find sales (x):
$1,200 + 0.03x = $1,500
0.03x = $300
x = $10,000
Answer: He must sell $10,000.
Interest of deposit:
= $1,050 * 0.02 * 9/12
= $1,050 * 0.02 * 3/4
= $15.75
Balances after compound interest:
= $18,500(1.09^5)
= $18,500 (1.5386239549)
= $28,464.54
