I have a math question ppl, plz help!?

Mr. Smith wants to hire a tutor for his child. He places an ad in the newspaper. He wants to make sure he gets a good one so this is how the ad reads:

Math Tutor Needed

10hrs/week

Call: ABC-DEF-GHIJ

ACGH are prime numbers

FIJ are square numbers

BDEFG are even numbers

C is a factor of J

A+D = E+J

I have a math question ppl, plz help!?
ABC-DEF-GHIJ

703-864-2519

here's how to do it:

1}first off, it's a telephone number so the #s are %26lt;0123456789%26gt;

2}out of those, 2,3,5,7 are prime #s; so [ACGH] can be either of those #s

3}out of the #s left %26lt;0,1,4,6,8,9%26gt;, 1,4,9 are square #s; so the [FIJ] group corresponds to those #s

4)the #s now left are %26lt;0,6,8%26gt;; which corresponds to the [BDE] group, the last letters left out of ABCDEFGHIJ.

5}it says F is an even #, the only even # in the [FIJ] group (1,4,9), is 4; therefore F=4

6}it says G is an even #, the only even # in the [ACGH] group(2,3,5,7) is 2;therefore G=2

7}C can now be (3,5,7) and J can now be either (1,9), but it says C is a factor of J. 3 is a factor of 9 (if you multiply 3 times 3 you get 9); therefore C=3 and J=9

8}since we know that F=4 and J=9, we can assume that I=1 because 1 is the last # left in the [FIJ] group (1,4,9)

9}now A+D=E+9; what I did was plug in different #s for A (5, 7) ,D (0,6,8), and E (0,6,8) until both sides were even. The numbers I ended with were 7+8=6+9. (15=15); so A=7, D=8, and E=6

10}since we know that A=7, C=3, and G=2; we can assume that H=5 because 5 is the last # left in the [ACGH] group.

11}%26lt;0%26gt; is the only # left, so B=0

12}now you substitute all the letters A=7 B=0 C=3 D=8 E=6 F=4 G=2 H=5 I=1 J=9 for these #s and you get 703-864-2519!
